An Historic Win in 2012

A Legacy in Howard County and Beyond
We are proud of our work with the Howard County Council, the Maryland State Legislature and our State Representatives and Senators to advocate for equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Marylanders.
In 2011, we led the charge to have gender identity and expression added to Howard County’s protected classes for non-discrimination. Approximately 70 supporters came out for the night of testimony. The legislation passed 4 to 1. We are deeply grateful to Gender Rights Maryland for their partnership in this effort. Read the coverage of our efforts In The News.
Now Onto The Nation We Go
In 2013, we will be active promoting marriage equality and transgender nondiscrimination at the federal level.
